This kit makes a lovely light, warm scarf with a pattern that reminds us of the waves on the sea. Manx Loaghtans were left by the Vikings over a thousand years ago on our small island in the middle of the Irish Sea, the Isle of Man. As we are a small island the sea is never far away and is an important influence on our lives through the weather and wind.
The scarf measures 150 x 30cm (59 x 12 inches). The kit contains 2 x 50g balls of our single ply/lace weight wool, easy to follow pattern and a pair of metal knitting needles, we also include a sew-in label. It is suitable for intermediate level knitters. The pattern was designed by an amazing lady called Pam Parfitt exclusively for Manx Loaghtan Produce.
